Florence Community Healthcare, a 65-bed full-service community hospital will open its doors to the public in January 2010 featuring state-of-the-art technology as well as superior patient care. We are currently accepting applications for AP/Payroll Clerk with Hospital experience.
The ideal candidate is able to demonstration good organizational and analytical skills,
computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheets and Access and PowerPoint experience.
Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data. Familiar with hospital/healthcare shift differentials, call back and on call pay. Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers. Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages. Candidate will be responsible for duties relating to the processing and payment of invoices in the CPSI AP system and will communicate with outside vendors and department managers.
Skills / Requirements
This opportunity requires a candidate with 3 or more years of hospital accouting and/or payroll experience and an Associates degree in accounting or related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
